We’re excited to share a update on the progress of Home #45—and it’s a big one.

A Major Milestone Reached

The fourth green inspection sticker has been placed on the front window of Home #45, marking the completion of a key set of required inspections. These green stickers represent important checkpoints in the construction process, and reaching this stage is a significant step forward for the home.

Insulation Complete

With inspections approved, we were able to move right into the next phase. DeVos Insulation came on site and successfully blew in the insulation, helping bring the home one step closer to being energy-efficient, comfortable, and ready for interior finishes.

What’s Next?

The momentum continues as we look ahead to the following steps:

  • Home energy rating
  • Rough-in inspection
  • Drywall installation

Once drywall is complete, the home will really start to take shape—and that’s when we’ll be ready for even more volunteers to get involved.

Volunteers Needed Soon

Upcoming interior work will include painting, finishing, and flooring, and we’re looking forward to welcoming volunteers to help transform Home #45 into a finished, livable space.

Thank you to everyone who has played a role so far—inspectors, contractors, donors, and volunteers alike. Your support keeps projects like Home #45 moving forward, one milestone at a time. Stay tuned for more updates as construction continues!
